A couple of weeks ago Kaden and I joined a play group. We go every Wednesday for a couple of hours. They sometimes have field trips, so this week we went to the small airport here. It was really neat. We watched a few Ag planes take of then we got to see a big jet come in and take off again. We got to stand right next to the runway, and Kaden even got to sit in one of the small airplanes. Quade was very disappointed that he had to go to school and that he is to old for this play group.

Kaden went outside to play without his coat on and when I told him to come in and put it on this was his reply, "Batman doesn't wear a coat Mom."

Quade is always building and creating things. For Christmas we got him his own tape and rope because he was always using ours up. Check out his awesome walking stick.

Mechanically Minded

Even from the time Quade was really little we knew that he was mechanically minded like his Dad. He figures things out for me all the time. This is Quade playing with his energy set that is Grandma Contor gave him for his B-day.

Helping Dad Like Old Times
It's been a while since I saw my three boys under the hood of a car. They used to always be around Chad in the shop.

I guess Alyssa and I have been feeling the same way about our hair. I decided to go back to dark also. My good friend who did my hair, ran with me, and switched off date nights moved. I was so sad to see her go. I really needed to get my hair done but hate paying over 50 bucks, so I went to the scary beauty college here and turned out pleasantly surprised. I really like my color. It is a dark brown but has some auburn in it. I was scared while they were painting it on because it was bright orange. I think I'll keep it this way for a while. Chad likes it dark and he even complemented me on it a few days later when my scalp was no longer dyed orange.

Quade and Kaden hate getting ready for Church, there is always crying. Grandma Contor gave them both white cowboys shirts for Christmas. Quade likes to wear his to church with Chad's bolo tie like his Grandpa Barnes used to wear. I still can't get Kaden to wear the vest that came with his new church outfit. I guess I'll just keep trying he'll probably grow out of it by the time I actually get him to put it on.



















Spring Time In January
We had about 4 days of wonderful spring weather here in Moscow. We broke out the bikes and went down to the bike path. Quade is learning how to ride and is getting very good. Kaden played with his bike for a while then decided to go fishing in the bird bath for leaves, Quade joined him later. It was so nice to get outside.
