My Hot Date Last Night:
Chad got free tickets to see the Kodo drums at University of Michigan. They are a group based out of Japan and they are amazing. The auditorium they played in was beautiful. They had a drum that weighed 900 lbs, and you would not believe the strength and speed they have to play them. Unfortunately one part involved men in thongs. I was glad their shadows were cast on the wall so I could just focus on that. It was a very fun night and I hope the free tickets keep coming. The reason the date was hot was because I was with Chad not because of the almost nude drummers.

Java Jungle:
Our friends told us about this place in Ann Arbor called the Java Jungle. It is a coffee shop with and enormous jungle gym, like the one's at McDonalds. The boys play there for hours. It's a good workout for them they sweat bullets and drink a lot of water while they play, then they crash on the way home. Chad and I get to chat and drink really good hot chocolate. I would go there three times a week if I could.

100th Day of School:
Quade had been looking forward to yesterday for weeks. It was the 100th day of school. The kids were asked to bring a collection of something of 100. Quade took a poster with him and his 100 hotwheels cars. The zero man, a guy dressed up who comes and visits the classes on every zero day 10th,20th, came and they got to wear a crown with 100 poka dots and a necklace with 100 cheerios. He had a fun time and the first thing he said when he got off the bus was that the kids in his class thought his collection was cool.

My Crazy Man:
Kaden loves to dance and "shake his booty" he would say. We've spent a lot of time laughing at the boys while they break it down. In a couple of weeks we are taking them to a Super Hero/Princess night at the recreation center here in Saline. I've caught them practicing their slow dancing. Quade's a little Romeo. I am sure we'll get some fun pictures that night.

Valentines Day:
When Kaden and I walked to the bus stop to pick up Quade on Valentines Day our mail box was brimming. We received packages from all three grandparents. Kaden was so excited he wanted to leave Quade on the bus and go home and open them. Quade had fun at school with his Valentine bag and ice cream party. When we got home it didn't take them long to open them up and start the sugar high that lasted three days. They love the book that grandma and grandpa Contor gave to them because it was the voices they miss reading it. We made Valentines for all the cousins too but unfortunately I haven't been able to get to the post office, and are Saturdays have been so full with the errands that need to be done it still hasn't happened. They will get mailed, it just might be in March.

Sunday Morning Stress:
I don't know how Sunday morning are around your house but at ours it is rush, rush, rush, with comments in the back like " I hate Sundays", " I don't want to be a sunbeam," " I hate church clothes." Well, for weeks Quade has been asking for a suit coat like Chads. I didn't really want to spend $80 dollars on an outfit that was going to be thrown on the floor the second we got home. This weekend we saw a kids resale store in Ann Arbor so we went to check it out.I wanted to see if there was anything we could get for the baby because we have to start all over. We got luck and found a new church outfit for Quade and Kaden (of course Kaden wouldn't wear his) and cleats for both of them because Quade is playing baseball and Kaden is going to be playing soccer. It all cost 35 dollars. Then I went to TJ Max and bought some new outfits, a bath towel, and some burp clothes for the baby. It really got me excited and I can't wait to see what this munchkin will be like. Now if we could only come up with a name.
